POM Plate for Keychron K2

Made from polyoxymethylene (POM), these replacement plates are used to modify the sound and feel of your keyboard.

1-5 - 1.6mm thick

Has underside notches to ensure switch latch engagement

Please note that due to the manufacturing process, POM does not have a protective film applied. Because of this POM almost always contains surface imperfections such as light scratches. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to prevent this; however, the integrity of the plate is not affected at all.

Some Manufacturers also include batch numbers in POM sheets on one side. When we create our plates, we ensure that all batch lettering will be facing down on the finished product.

Added to deeper thock sound

Installed a POM plate in my K2 along with both foam kits. Greatly improved the thockiness of the board overall, POM plate is a lot softer material than the stock steel/aluminum plate so it deepens the sound even more.

Awesome product, awesome service!

Upgraded both my K2 and K8 with Keyboard Kustoms PE foam, poron kit, and POM plate, and the results were incredible. Beautiful, quiet marbled thock sound and terrific feel. It is now such a joy to type on these two boards! The KK upgrades are wonderful products and I highly recommend them.
Also, I messed up the case foam install (wasn't supposed to cut it) on my K8, and Rob sent me a free replacement! Wonderful, friendly service.
At this point, when I think about buying a new board, one of the first things I check is whether Keyboard Kustoms makes upgrades for it. Thanks KK for changing my typing life!

Good product!

As this is pretty much the only available option for getting a K2 POM plate, I got this one. It's well made, fits properly and (in my opinion) makes the keyboard sound better.

Great replacement for a stock K2 plate

As the material science would suggest, you get a noticeably deeper/thockier sound with the POM than you do with the stock aluminum plate. Great quality from a great company! And probably your only option!
