A quick note about using PE foam with Hall effect(HE) switches. 

We tested the stroke distance between HE switches with and without PE foam to determine what effect PE foam would have. Our tests shows that there was no appreciable difference between using 0.5mm PE foam with the HE switches. The total travel distance remained at 4.0mm while the measured depressed input value remained largely consistent on switches with PE foam and without.
